Inspired by mid-16th century embroidered 'slip work' used on bed hangings and chairs, this archival pattern depicts a romantic pastoral scene with leaping deer amid stylized roses and strawberries set against an aged background. Kit Kemp's interpretation breathes new life into the design with vibrant and bright colours, adding a modern twist to this classic motif. Shown here in Plaster.
