Taking inspiration from the original design Fragment, found in the English Heritage archives which featured a single tonal colour block print in a panelled form, edged with vertical stripes. Designers Guild have reimagined this original print to create PEH0005/05 Carlisle Fauna, an all over floral print in multi tones to suit the contemporary home and create a more versatile option for the interior. Taking its name from the mansion built in the 1680's, occupied by the Countess of Carlisle, no.17 Carlisle Street still exists today and retains many of the original interior features.
