Osborne & Little Wallpaper

Founded in London in 1968, Osborne & Little began with a collection of hand-printed wallpapers that won immediate awards and set the tone for everything that followed. More than fifty years on, it remains one of the most internationally respected names in luxury wallcovering, a brand whose designs are held in the permanent collections of the V&A, the Cooper Hewitt in New York and the Chicago Institute of Art.

From elegant florals and damasks to bold geometrics and scenic prints, the collections bring artistry and sophistication to both contemporary and classic interiors — drawing on an exceptionally broad range of cultural and historical influences, united by a consistent intelligence of colour and pattern that keeps the range feeling fresh collection after collection.

Osborne & Little Wallpaper

Founded in London in 1968 by Peter Osborne and Antony Little, Osborne & Little helped lead British wallpaper out of its polite postwar shell and has spent the decades since being cleverer and braver with pattern than almost anyone. Its designs run from painterly florals and lavish damasks to confident geometrics and full scenic prints, always with an artist's eye and a real confidence with colour, and because the house makes coordinating fabric as well, one design can be carried from the walls to the blinds and cushions.

Our bestseller is Argentario, which gathers some of the brand's best loved designs in new colourings, with textural plains, marble effects, holographic patterns, faux leather, flocks and glittering glass beading. Kanoko takes its inspiration from traditional Japanese crafts, with understated textures, grasscloths, geometrics and murals, and Byzance draws on the decorative arts, from patterns echoing Indian artistry to motifs from nature and a metallic foil wallpaper. Regency Stripe is a traditional stripe highlighted with flock, and Folium a lush gathering of foliage, birds and metallic detail, from Trailing Orchid to Feuille D'Or.

Among the newest arrivals, Empyrea offers panoramic murals and wallpapers of cascading florals, exotic birds and tropical scenes, and Mansfield Park takes its cue from the English country house, with florals, geometrics and two murals named after places and characters in the novels of Jane Austen. Rhapsody is digitally printed with lakeside views, botanicals and birds.

For quieter walls, Chroma is a versatile paste the wall plain in a wide choice of colours, and Strand gathers fifty-eight striped wallpapers, each named after a street or square in central London. For hallways and busy rooms, Metropolis Vinyls 2 offers heavy duty vinyls suited to commercial and domestic use, Paramo Vinyls brings embossed textures on wide-width rolls in celadon, terracotta and walnut, and Metallico Vinyls adds metallic detailing in copper, gold, bronze and silver. Manarola looks to the Italian Riviera and the Cinque Terre, and Wallpaper Album 6 gathers decorative designs such as Sariskar, a pomegranate and grapevine trail by Henry Wilson.
