Archive Prints Fabric by Morris & Co. After his resounding success in wallcoverings, William Morris turned his focus to creating fabrics using hand-block-printing. Originating in the printing mill Bannister Hall, Morris later moved to Merton Abbey to set up his own print works. Archive Prints Fabric by Morris & Co retains the classic characteristics and features of the original block printing method. Archive prints has kept some of the original colourations, Featuring the classic designs by Morris & Co. Expertly blended with new designs taking inspiration from his woven tapestries and embroideries. Painted in a traditional Morris palette by the current design team.
