Rambling Rose
Returning for the first time in many years for the Emery Walker's House collection, Rambling Rose wallpaper dates to 1877 when William Morris designed the original Rose wallpaper. A motif Morris often used in tapestry and his poetry, Rose is a firm favourite in the William Morris archive, depicting the iconic faithfulness of forest walks and cottage gardens alike. Rambling Rose wallpaper features a twisting thorned vine with sharp edges, juxtaposed to the often-used symbolisation of love and purity linked to the Rose.
