Strawberry Thief

Strawberry Thief fabric by Clarke and Clarke is an iconic design created by William Morris, dating back to 1833. The Strawberry Thief fabric design is a playful depiction of cheeky birds pecking at strawberries amongst vines and shrubbery. William Morris originally created Strawberry Thief to reflect the struggle gardeners have with birds eating their fruits. At Kelmscott Manor, after his attempts to grow strawberries William Morris experienced the same problem!
